I AM QUALIFIED TO PROVIDE WORKSHOPS, RESIDENCIES AND MENTORING BASED ON MY OWN ART PRACTICE AND INSTALLATIONS TO A WIDE CLIENT GROUP.

A passionate belief in Human Rights, Equal Opportunities and the value of education has informed my paid employment as an educator and as an advocate, as well as my own art practice as a painter and maker.

I believe a person can develop a sense of self-worth through success in the creative arts. My particular ability is to help students discover for themselves their strengths through art and find ways of overcoming their weaknesses by solving problems.

I am by training a painter and draughtsman who uses mixed media, colour, and makes installations. My varied experience means that I am adaptive, am always learning new skills and can teach a wide variety of techniques.

I enjoy working sympathetically and positively with students of different cultures, ethnicities, ages and abilities.

I can teach a broad range of Art skills and I have current CRB clearance to work with children and vulnerable adults. I have training and experience in mentoring. I have worked in teams and on committees.
